We've just had a peek at the stats from this year's online Christmas sales. Research shows you have to be ready for London 2012, or miss out
New research, published by BT, reveals that almost two-thirds (64 per cent) of retailers expect a much needed boost to their sales during the Games. But over a third (34 per cent) run the risk of not capitalising fully on the opportunity the Olympics present by failing to make basic preparations, such as plans to deal with staff absenteeism or adapting their delivery schedules.
